If you consider going by bus. You have to divide the journey into two pieces. First, you need to catch the train back to KrakĂłw Train Station (40 minutes). You can do it by going to the Airport Train station outside of the airport arrivals Hall. Once you get to the KrakĂłw GĹ‚owny (the Main Station) you need to walk up to the Krakow MDA Bus station (200 m) located in the front of the translation on Bosacka Street. Once there you can buy the tickets for the bus in the main hall and take on many bus companies going to Zakopane. This journey might take up to 2-3 hours. So together it might take up to 4 hours.Â
If you consider going by Train. Similarly like in the Bus example You have to divide the journey into two pieces. First, you need to catch the train back to Kraków Train Station (40 minutes). You can do it by going to the Airport Train station outside of the airport arrivals Hall. Once you get to the Kraków Głowny (the Main Station) you need a switch to train to Zakopane. This also will take you 2,5 hours so together it might be again about 4 hours with the train changes and buying the tickets.
