During the trip, You will visit one of the oldest working Salt Mines in the World – the Wieliczka’s Salt Mine, which has been producing table salt for over 700 years! On tour from Krakow. Your English speaking guide will take You up to 140 meters underground for a 2,5-hours journey through over 2,5-kilometers long tourist route full of chambers with amazing carvings and statues and large collection of mining machines and equipment, where everything is made of salt, and underground salt lake. Please note that to reach the first level of the mine (64 metres underground), You have to descent a wooden stairway which has 378 stairs. After the tour, You will be taken up to the surface with a lift. You should be back to Krakow around 13:00 (or 19:00 in you go on afternoon tour).
Wieliczka in which Salt Mine is located is just near Krakow – your journey will take around 30 minutes. The tour takes around 2.5 hours so it shouldn’t take long than approximately half of your day. You can visit it even if you are staying in Krakow for a day or two — Wieliczka Salt Mine should definitely be on your “to do” list during your visit in Poland. Still not sure? Remember that this is a door-to-door service so you won’t need to look for any bus stop — please wait in front of your hotel and we will pick you up from there on the day of the Salt Mine Tour. Price includes door-to-door transfer, assistance, insurance and entrance fees together with English speaking guided tour. There aren’t any hidden costs!
If you’re afraid you’ll get hungry during the tour don’t worry! There is an optional lunch box possible to book while making your reservation. On the way back (around 12.30 p.m.), we will serve you our delicious freshly prepared every day packed lunch set including: salad, cheese sandwich, chocolate wafer and bottle of water. We also offer vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options so if you need one, please remember to add a remark in your booking form and there won’t be any problem with that.

We use a fleet of new Mercedes-Benz Vans and Minibuses. Our drivers are well trained and fully licesned for travel ground transportation. Our door to door service means that you will be pickup directly form your hotel and delivered to the same spot after the tour, for free.

Temperature in the mine is constant all year long. It is 17-19 degrees Celsius.
The maximum dimensions of hand luggage which can be brought on the tour is 35cm x 20cm x 20cm. You can leave your larger luggage in the car.
