Shorter version of our regular tour to Auschwitz, during which you will skip the museum and visit the Concentration Camp in Birkenau.
We will pick you up from your accommodation in Krakow. It takes around 1h 10 minutes one way. On the way you will watch an introduction movie about Auschwitz-Birkenau. First stop is located at “Altejudenrampe” which is historical train car, that was used to transport prisoners to Birkenau. After that our driver will take you to Birkenau.
For next 2.5 hours you will have time to know the place and reflect about tragedy of the place. You will receive a guide book in preferred language that will help you to move around.
On the way back to Krakow you will also pass by Auschwitz III Monowitz which was one of the very first camps also the largest of the sub-camps of Auschwitz with a status of headquarters of the “industrial” sub-camps.
It is a door to door service so you will be picked up in the morning from your place of stay. Our English-speaking driver will take care of you all day long. Here is how it looks:
Visit to Auschwitz I is not included It is self-guided tour Eat your breakfast early, you will be picked up between 8h 00 and 9h 00. Wear comfortable shoes, it is a walking tour! If it is cloudy and chilly bring extra jacket as it might be windy.
We do it every day all year round. You can get an acces to Birkenau when other tours are sold out.
Remember that we will pick you up and drive you back to your hotel or apartment. We travel in small groups to make sure you are comfortable and on time everywhere.
On your way, you will watch a documentary movie about Auschwitz-Birkenau Concentration Camp.
You can visit Birkenau in your own pace. Without being rushed.

This tour includes visit to Auschwitz II – Birkenau Concetration Camp, there is no option to visit Auschwitz I while booking this tour.

We use a fleet of new Mercedes-Benz Vans and Minibuses. Our drivers are well trained and fully licesned for travel ground transportation. Our door to door service means that you will be pickup directly from your hotel and delivered to the same spot after the tour, for free.
You can visit Auschwitz II – Birkenau Camp during your stay in Krakow, as it is located around 50 km from Krakow. It will be more comfortable and less expensive to take an organized tour rather than use a bus from Krakow to Auschwitz. Why? KrakowShuttle offers a door-to-door service so you won’t need to search for Krakow-Auschwitz Bus at the Bus Station and you will be picked up directly from your hotel. Please note that the maximum size of bags and backpacks allowed to carry on the Museum grounds is 30 x 20 x 10 cm. You can always leave your belongings inside the bus which will be parked nearby. Your whole tour is operated by the same driver so you don’t need to worry about your bag being left behind.
