Because of the history of Kazimierz district, in Kraków Jewish events are organised very often. One of the most important and best known is a Jewish Culture Festival, organized by Jewish Culture Foundation from more than 20 years. This year edition is also very attractive for the potential participants. By 7 days you will have the opportunity to take a part in around 160 different events consists of the most important themes and the most fascinating representatives of contemporary Israeli culture and the Jewish Diaspora scattered across the globe. You can choose the form which suits you the best: concerts, performances, film screenings, workshops, lectures or guided tours.
All events will be held in various spaces, like pubs (f.e. Alchemia, Barka), cultural institutions (f.e. Galicja Jewish Museum, JCC) or open air (f.e. Remu’s Cemetery, Art Bulwars). For some concerts and lectures entrance is free, for another you need to buy a ticket.
