A lot of people is coming to Krakow during the Christmas Time. The city looks completely different than during the spring or summer season. It means that even if you have already visited Krakow earlier this year, it is worth to come again and discover the city and its winter scene. One of the most important things about that time of the year is snow. Sometimes it gets really snowy in Krakow which gives the city an amazing look. Buildings and streets are covered with the white fluff. There is also plenty of decorations such as christmas lights hanging above the streets and on the buildings. Christmas Time is also the period in which the famous Christmas Market is being held. Little shops are located all over the Main Market Square. You can find there great souvenirs which are typical and traditional for people in Poland. It is also a great opportunity to try some traditional Christmas dishes served in Poland. The Christmas Market is open till 26th of December. If you are looking for things to do during this time, there is also a possibility to participate in our regular tours. Auschwitz-Birkenau is only closed on the 25th of December and 1st of January. Salt Mine is closed on the 24th and 25th of December and on the 1st of January. On any other day it is possible. Zakopane Tour is also a good idea in this time of the year, because you will be able to see why it is called the winter capital of Poland.
